Are There Any Additional Costs?

Beyond the cost of the Adventure, there are no additional required expenses. You may want to have extra money to stop and purchase items, like food or drinks, along the way. That is completely up to you and isn't necessary to enjoy the game.

How Far Do I Have To Walk?

The distance of each adventure varies but includes about 15-20 puzzles usually not more than one city block apart. Total walking distance is less than a mile and is broken up with stops, many with a place you could rest if needed. The Adventures are created to be easily done by people of most levels of fitness.

What If I Can't Finish?

You can save the Adventure and start again later. It is very important that you know where the next puzzle is located before saving because the Adventure will open again at the next question. If you don't know where that question is located, you may not be able to continue. It is possible to use the map to help but it is better if you find the next puzzle before saving. When you save the Adventure, you are given an access code to get back in. Very important that you save that code. If you lose the code, you won't be able to access the Adventure again.

Is It Wheelchair Accessible?

While a wheelchair should be able to access the clues, they are all on public property that, for the most part, is handicapped accessible, it would be helpful to have at least one person who can stand to see any clues that may be above a seated person's eyesight. Some areas may have curbs or uneven surfaces that may take maneuvering but should be doable.

What Are Your Business Hours?

You can play our Adventures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long. It may be easier, and possibly safer, to play during daylight hours but all puzzles are located on open city streets.

If you need to contact us, you can email at any time and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we don't have staff on hand to answer phone calls at this time.

How Do I Earn Points?

Each puzzle you solve is worth points.  If you get an answer wrong, you don't get the points for that puzzle. Your total points at the end of the Adventure determines where you are on the Leaderboard.

Are All The Questions Worth The Same Number Of Points?

All the questions are not worth the same number of points. Point values are awarded based on the difficulty of the puzzle. Most multiple choice answers are only worth 5 points while, fill in the blank answers may be worth 10-20 points. The points are automatically applied, based on the question, when you get the answer correct.

What Should I Wear?

These are outdoor Adventures so dress to spend 1-2 hours outside. There are usually places you can stop to get out of the weather for a snack or drink but plan on being outside. Wear comfortable shoes that you can walk in and have sunscreen and water with you.

What Should I Bring?

The most important thing you need is a fully charged smartphone to play the Adventure on. A backup phone is also a good idea and can be used to look up some answers or as a calculator. Paper and pencil can come in handy to help solve the puzzles. Some Adventures can be up to 2 hours long so you may want snacks or a drink with you. Make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather.

How Many People Can Be In My Group?

We only charge one price for your entire group but playing with a large group may not be as much fun as breaking up into smaller groups and playing against each other. Two to four people make a nice group size, but you can play by yourself or with as many people as you want.

What Ages Can Play?

While the puzzles are based on state educational standards for grades 4-6, even adults will enjoy the Adventures. Younger children could also take part but will need assistance.
